With the monthly updates of Power Query and all the new features that are going to be released soon, how do I know that the book is still relevant for me?

Of course the book is relevant for you! The techniques in “Collect, Combine and Transform Data using Power Query in Excel and Power BI” will enable you to do magic to your badly-formatted, awkwardly-dispersed and incorrectly-designed datasets. The book focuses on the solutions to common data challenges, and I don’t expect that UI changes will make affect the book’s relevancy.
If you find any major inconsistencies between the latest version of Power Query and any screenshot or instructions in the book, please let me know. I will publish updates in the format of Q&A to answer any inconsistencies, and will consider addressing them in a next revision of the book in the future.
