New Recording: Low-Code Data Quality Automation

Last week I was invited to speak at Stuttgart Power BI User Group and shared my thoughts on Low-Code Data Quality Automation using Power Query. During the demo, I demonstrated live how you can use the free Dataflows Snapshot Analysis app from AppSource to gain data quality automation capabilities on any data source (that can be connected using dataflows). We connected to a challenging badly-formatted data source, cleaned it up using Power Query online, and analyzed the snapshots to track changes in records and data profiling trends and outliers over time. Watch this video to learn how you can use the app.

Note, that the app has a Power Apps dataflows version here that allows you to audit Dataverse tables as well. I am very excited to use these apps as a core accelerator of low-code data quality automation and bring the extended suite of Power Query-based low-code data quality tools for Avanade’s clients. Congrats On Being Able To Speak At A Big Community Conference, I Though Do Have A Question I Use The Free Version Of Power BI So The Desktop One, So Can I Still Use The PBIX FIle In The Desktop Version As Well? Or Also Even Download It?

Thank you Hack. The PBIX version is not publicly available.

No. I am sorry. The only way to obtain the code is through a consulting service. If you are looking on ways to automate data quality in your organization, please reach out 🙂
