My #PowerQuery book has arrived

If you are following me on social media, this video will not be new. Two days ago I received my print copy of the book. The book is real 🙂 I was so excited about it, so I had to fool around and create this video.

A journey of one year has ended. I would like to acknowledge so many people who have helped me reach this milestone, but I will share it in another post in the future, (But if you cannot wait – you can read it in the Acknowledgement section of the book).

Don’t forget to check out the resources at datachant.com/next to access the book Q&A forum and bonus exercises that will be published in the future (The first bonus exercise was already published last week).

I think you can ignore this warning. The books were just made available today for the first time. It is an error. It will probably fix itself when the first orders will arrive in a day or two to the early buyers’ address.

Temporarily out of stock on Amazon UK. Had a pre-order in for months and still no book!

Hi Clair, I was told that the initial shipment to Amazon is still being processed this week. Hope you get it next week.

Me too, I’ve got the other two books in the series (the dax and model/analysis ones) and they have been golden. Been desperate for a decent PQ reference to fall back on. Yours and Chris’s blogs are a good place to start but don’t always cover the whole picture so you end up fishing out a number of posts. Just the nature of blog references!
        Appreciate the update, cheers!

Hi Gil, getting the book is becoming a pain. Today Amazon.it cancelled my 16 th november order telling me they don’t know when the book will become available again… 🙁

Did you also try to get it through Pearson’s InformIT or Microsoft Press Store?

All route to the US store. Even tried just googling the title with UK at the end, nada except out of stock Amazon…! Frustrating >_<
